Business Rates Success in Grimsby

Acting on behalf of Paragon Automotive, BNE recently appeared at a Valuation Tribunal to pursue rating appeals on three car storage compounds in Grimsby.  The outcome was a total reduction in rateable value of £64,553 (38%).  This related to the 2005 Valuation List, so rates savings were backdated.  BNE were then successful in negotiating reduced assessments for the 2010 Valuation List of approximately 23%.

With rates appeals procedure becoming ever more complicated, BNE have shown that a correctly presented case can still produce impressive results.
